‘I’ll try to come back as a champion’, says Rishad before joining Lahore Qalandars

Rishad has already received a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) and will be playing for Lahore Qalandars.

27 Mar 25Speaking to the media today at Mirpur, Rishad expressed his delight after getting the green light from BCB. The young spinner said he aims to return from Pakistan as a champion.
"I’m going there to give my best. I’ll try to come back as a champion," said Rishad.
In the last edition of the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL), Rishad played for Fortune Barishal and was an important part of their title-winning squad.

Previously, Rishad had opportunities to play in the Global T20 Canada and Australia’s Big Bash League but couldn't make his debut. Hence, the leggie is determined to make the most of his PSL experience.

Litton and Nahid have also received their NOCs to play in the PSL. Litton will represent Karachi Kings, while Nahid will turn out for Peshawar Zalmi.
Rishad’s Lahore Qalandars will kick off their PSL campaign against Islamabad United on April 11. Litton's Karachi Kings and Nahid's Peshawar Zalmi will both play their opening matches the following day.
