Pakistan legend claims that PSL is better than IPL

While Mohammad Amir has had a smooth transition to the
international arena, the two other players that had to face a ban for fixing charges,
Salman Butt and Mohammad Asif, didn’t face the same privileges.
Indeed, Amir is already a regular member of the Pakistan
national team, but the left-handed batsman and the right-arm pacer haven’t even
been given an opportunity in the Pakistan Super League, something which bemuses
Abdul Razzaq.
The former Pakistan international believes that the duo
should be given a chance in the PSL as their domestic forms warrants it.
“I believe Asif and Salman should be given a chance in PSL
to see how they perform,” said Razzaq.
The former all-rounder also claimed that while he “hoped” to
play in the PSL, his wishes weren’t reciprocated.

“I had some hopes of playing in the PSL but unfortunately I
did not get a good response to that,” he said.
Razzaq then went on to explain that he hasn’t given up hope
on it and will try to make it to next year’s edition by improving his fitness.
“If I am able to perform and prove my fitness, then I am
hopeful of participating in the next PSL as a player,” he had said.
Finally, he concluded by claiming that the PSL is better
than its Indian counterpart, the Indian Premier League, and that it is a little
easier to play in the PSL due to the fact that he has international experience.
“PSL is a good standard and probably better than IPL but when you have played International cricket against top players, then PSL is a little easy for us to play,” he said.
