Bangladesh Twenty20 skipper Mahmudullah feels that rescheduling of upcoming ICC T20 World Cup will benefit Tigers as they can have the service of Shakib al Hasan.
Due to the coronavirus pandemic cricketing event of this year has already been postponed for an indefinite period though International Cricket Council [ICC] is hoping to host the biggest tournament of the year in their slotted time despite doubts are looming over it.

"If the schedule changes, it could be a better scenario for us. We all know how important Shakib’s role is in our team. He is hugely experienced in this format," Mahmudullah was quoted in a leading English daily on Friday.
"Sakib can change the face of the team. Having someone like him gives the team a great balance. He has great impact and true match-winner," he added.
Shakib has been suspended from all form of crickets for one year and his suspension will be finished on 29 October and the WC is scheduled to take place in October.
If that happens then the Bangladesh team will have to leave their ace all-rounder behind and to travel Australia, this year’s host country but if that is not the case than there is a possibility of bolstering their strength with the inclusion of Shakib in the squad.
Bangladesh is expected to start their WC campaign from 19 October by playing against Netherlands, Namibia and Scotland in the first round of the competition to book a spot in the Super 12.
