The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has clarified that it did not itself enter into an agreement with an international betting firm during the Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2020, Cricket Pakistan reported on Monday.
"The PCB categorically denies and rejects the assertion that it entered into, or allowed any of its commercial partners to enter into, any contract or agreement for betting rights with any entity whatsoever," the PCB said in a statement.

Pakistan Cricket board Wasim Khan has told that news in his statement.
Earlier, it was reported that the agreement with the betting firm was made by one of PCB's commercial partners and not by the board itself.
"The global media rights partner, without following the due approval process, awarded the live streaming rights to a betting company. As soon as the matter came to the PCB's notice, it immediately took it up with the media rights partner and correspondence in this regard is ongoing."
