India fast bowler Mohammed Shami snared 3-27 including two in a row in the last over before the second session to leave Bangladesh at tricky 140-7 at tea on the first day of the first Test at Holkar Stadium in Indore on Thursday.
Off-spinner Ravichandran Ashwin played a perfect foil to shami with 2-43 to help the hosts take the firm control of the match.

Mushfiqur Rahim was the highest scorer for Bangladesh so far, scoring 43, while skipper Mominul Haque made 37.
Bangladesh was reduced to 31-3 in the first hour of the game after Mominul Haque opted to bat first. Mominul and Mushfiqur however shared a 68-run partnership before Ashwin struck to rattle the stump of Mominul, who left the ball, anticipating of no turn.
Mahmudullah Riyad, the another senior batsman of the side joined Mushfiqur but looked shaky against the express pace of Shami, Ishant and Umesh Yadav.
Literally trembling against the pacers, Mahmudullah seemed to be panicked and played poor shots repeatedly and one of that against Ashwin cost his wicket for 15.
Mushfiqur and Liton got going well before Shami came back with fire to dismiss Mushfiqur and Mehidy Hasan Miraz for the consecutive deliveries in the last over of the tea.
