Bangladesh not thinking about Shakib, Tamim absence

Bangladesh newly-appointed Test captain Mominul said that they will be missing three players due to the absence of Shakib al Hasan and Tamim Iqbal as the ace all-rounder filled the gap of two cricketers at a time.
Shakib al Hasan is recently banned by the ICC for failing to report corrupt approaches by the bookies while Tamim ruled himself out of the series due to family reasons as he wanted to stay with his wife who is expecting a second child.
‘’I think three players are missing for those two. Shakib Bhai is equal to two players. So the absence of Shakib bhai and Tamim bhai will be like missing three players. Yes, it will be challenging. But there is no scope of thinking about it too much now,’’ said Mominul.
‘’We have to move away. I think due to their absence, everyone is more focused as we missing like three key players in playing eleven. In that sense I think everyone will play with extra responsibility,’’ he said
