Mohammad Amir was the only light in the darkness for Pakistan, as Amir picked up three wickets for 26 runs for Pakistan defending a total of just 105 runs. But former Pakistan captain Misbah is not totally impressed by this pacer’s form.
“You could say there is one positive for Pakistan that Amir is among the Wickets he got 3 wickets. But still I am worried about his bowling form.” He said

Misbah feels Amir should have been more attacking with his bowling approach.
“Because your team bundled out on 105 runs. And your premium first bowler comes on to bowl the first over and his average speed is 81 mph, no swing, no zip. And suddenly the opposition feels comfortable.” He added.
Misbah was impressed with the speed of other pacer Hasar Ali although he went for few in the hands of Chris Gayle.
“ I think if you look at other guy hasan ali, he bowled at 88-89 mph, so he was right there. He gave away runs but gayle was very sensible and experienced.” Misbah quoted.
Mohammad Amir’s selection in the Pakistan World Cup has been a total drama. At first he was not included in the squad because of his bad form after the champions trophy. Then the board decided to give him a chance in England series but there he got affected by chicken pox. But at the end Pakistan board included him in the squad because the performance of the other pace bowlers were very poor in England.
