New Zealand will take on Sri Lanka on Saturday at their World Cup opener, but before this match New Zealand skipper kane Willamson isn’t sleeping a sound sleep. Because pacer Tim Southee and batsman Henry Nicholes are yet to declare fit to play in the opening match.
Southee was in the practice before the Sri Lanka match, where he picked up a niggle in his right leg muscle. If he is unfit to play then Matt Henry may play in his place.
And on the other hand Colin Munro may open the innings with Martin Guptill if Henry Nicholes stays injured. Besides there is some worry about Tom Latham’s finger injury too.

Southee played the warm up match against India. In that match bowled pretty well. He picked up a wicket and gave 26 runs in 7 overs.
But in the warm up match Matt Henry’s performance was abysmal. Henry bowled nine overs against West Indies and gave away 107 runs. He also picked up two wickets in this unusual bowling spell.
