West Indies are very careful today before locking horns against Bangladesh in the Tri-series final. Team’s assistant coach Roddy Estwick said that West Indies is eyeing 300 to 320 runs batting first in the final. That’s why he is giving special importance to the opponent spinners.
In the previous two matches against West Indies Tiger spinners bowled at 3.7 run rate. For this the Caribbean’s fell under a lot of pressure and was unable to accumulate a big total. But Eastwick wants to get out of this type of situation. He said,
“we have to score more against the spinners. In the last two matches Bangladeshi spinners bowled at 3.7 run rate. But we have to score at 4.5 or 5 against them. If we do that than there is a chance to score big. We are eyeing 300 or 320 runs.”

West Indies assistant coach said that they have worked on different plans and techniques before the final.
“Of course we will try to win the final. We have done a lot of planning and discussed many things. We are working on our techniques too. Now we have to implement that on the field.”
In the last match West Indies dropped four catches and missed a run out against Bangladesh. They are a bit disappointed about their fielding. But Estwick isn’t concerned about his team’s bowling.
“I think we have bowled well so far. We are only disappointed about our fielding. We have dropped four catches and missed one run out. So, we have to improve on that. We are working on it. Condition is perfect up to this point. Its bit cold but that goes for the two teams. If we want to win than we have to improve on these sectors. “
Bangladesh will take on West Indies today at 3.45pm in the afternoon (BD time) on Malahide, Dublin. Before this Bangladesh have played two matches against West Indies and won all of them.
