Holder out of Bangladesh tour

West Indies received a huge blow ahead of the home series against Bangladesh as they are set to be without the service of their skipper Jason Holder due to shoulder injury.
According to Caribbean News Service Holder will undergo therapy during the time frame to recover from the shoulder injury that he sustained in the just concluded tour of India.
‘’Jason has a partial thickness tear for subscapularis tendon. He will undergo physiotherapy during the time of November and December,’’ Cricket West Indies chief executive Johnny Grave was quoted in CNS.
Experienced Kraig Brathwhite is expected to replace Holder in the Test series.

Meanwhile Bangladesh Cricket Board officials confirmed a group of West Indian players are due to arrive to take part in a bilateral series against Bangladesh on Wednesday.
The Caribbean side would arrive in separate groups as the first contingent of 10 members would reach Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport at 5:00pm.
‘’They will arrive in separate contingent,’’ a BCB official confirmed Cricbuzz on Wednesday.
The remaining other players were expected to arrive in Dhaka in next two days.
West Indies will play two Tests, three one-day internationals and three Twenty20 in their over a month-long tour in Bangladesh.
They will also play a two-day warm-up match against a BCB XI side at MA Aziz Stadium in Chattogram from November 18 before the first Test that will take place at Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium.
The second Test will be played at Sher-e Bangla National Stadium from November 30.
The three-match ODI series will start on December 9 in Mirpur while the remaining two matches will be held on December 11 and 14 in Mirpur and Sylhet respectively.
The first Twenty20 international match will be held on December 17 in Sylhet while Sher-e Bangla will host the remaining Twenty20s on December 20 and 22 respectively.
