Bangladesh began their ICC Women's Under-19 T20 World Cup campaign with a five-wicket victory over Nepal in a low-scoring encounter at the YSD-UKM Cricket Oval in Bangi, Malaysia on Saturday.

Jannatul Maoua stood out with impressive bowling figures of 2 for 11 in her four overs, while five Nepalese batters were run out, leaving Nepal all out for just 52 runs in 18.2 overs after being sent in to bat.
