The match, held in Kuala Lumpur, went down to the wire, culminating in a dramatic Super Over. Batting first after winning the toss, England posted 113 runs for the loss of 9 wickets in their 20 overs.

Chasing the target, Bangladesh needed just 1 run off the final ball with one wicket in hand, but Nishita Akter was run out, pushing the match into a Super Over.

In the Super Over, left-arm spinner Courtin Coleman bowled for England, while Bangladesh managed to score 11 runs, thanks to an unbeaten 8-run knock off 3 balls by Sadia Akter, which included a crucial six.


For Bangladesh, pacer Habiba Akter bowled the Super Over brilliantly. England needed 4 runs off the final ball, but Prisha Tanawala could only manage 2 runs, handing Bangladesh a thrilling 2-run victory.
