Bangladesh veteran opener Tamim Iqbal admitted his weakness against Mahmudullah’s bowling while playing in different teams in domestic and franchise league.

In a live Instagram session, Tamim asked Mahmudullah how he guessed correctly where he will hit or what will he do while batting. Mahmudullah simply replied his answer that the guessing game with Tamim might match which is why he got the chance to have his wicket for many times in domestic and franchise level.

"Yes, I have also got your wicket a few times, in both domestic and BPL.  I think some guessing game can be matched with you. Because, I know that if I bowl to you in the regular length and line then you will hit me in every bowl and that I'm hundred per cent sure. And I know you hit so hard to the off-spinner. So my target is not getting a six from you. I try my best to get you out from the line. Even when I bowl in the net I try to bowl in various direction to you," Mahmudulla said in reply to Tamims question.

Tamim also said that he can guess how a bowler can bowl in the situation like in the case of a spinner like Miraz. The left-handed batsman said that he can guess where Miraz can bowl what is the good position for him, what he can think, but in the case of Mahmudullah, he is totally blank about it and feels that only the almighty and Mahmudullah knows where he can deliver the next ball to him while he is batting in the crease.

"What I think is like Miraz is bowling, so I know where he will try to place the bowl. I understand that he might do this or that. But in the case of yours, I think that only you and the Almighty will know that where your bowl will land. Like you bowl on the side of leg stump and again bowl outside of the off-stump. So, I can't guess where you will bowl," Tamim said in the live Instagram session with Mahmudullah.  

However, Mahmudullah said that he don't know how he gets to have Tamim's wicket that much but he does agree that while bowling he does guess a lot.

"I really don't know, I might have guessed and it worked sometimes. I try and what I think is often I deliver some bowls and what was not supposed to happen, it got happened. Like the bowl got some extra turn or anything by the grace of Allah and that what helped me to get your wicket. But I do guess," Mahmudullah concluded.
