Bangladesh batsman Mohammed Mithun believes he can establish himself in the middle order if given the right opportunity.
Bangladesh middle-order batting almost centered around Shakib, Mushfiq and Mahmudullah batting in all formats of the game and Mithun knows very well that it is tough to get a chance in the middle order position.
Mithun himself was an opening batsman in his early days but for keeping wickets he started batting in the misled order position as it is very tough to keep wicket and open at the same time.

‘’I was an opener when I played age-based cricket. Then when I first played in the Premier League, I used to open. Then as I played as a keeper in first-class, I hadn't opened since then. Because in the longer version it is difficult to open after keeping all day. Then I used to bat at four or five,’’ said Mithun.
Mithun played for Sylhet Thunder in the last BBPL and was very disappointed with the franchise managements as they keep changing his batting position in every match
‘’Even in the last BPL, I was unbeaten on 87 in the first match, batting at number three. I did 20 in the next match. Then I went to four in the next match. This is how my order always changes. Definitely good for every player if there is a specific place. Then he can focus on that place’’ he said
Mithun stated that he hopes new management of Bangladesh team would give him the opportunity to bat at any certain position for few matches before changing his batting order.
