Shakib wanted to bid for his WC bat

Bangladesh all-rounder Shakib al Hasan said that he wanted to bid for his own World Cup bat but withdraw from that idea afterward.


Shakib WC bat was sold for 20 lakh as a USA resident Bangladeshi named Raj bought it from the auction that was organized to raise fund for the coronavirus pandemic.


Shakib said it was his favorite bat among the bats he used in his life and only auctioned his bat for helping the poor people of the country in this crises time


Shakib has shared interesting thoughts to bid the bat himself if the right value of the bats were not obtained

‘’I am feeling bad to lose the bat. In the beginning, I thought if I failed to get my desired value I myself will bid for that bad or will tell someone others to bid for me and will pay him the money afterward ‘’said Shakib.


Shakib said the only reason to auction his favorite bat was to bring happiness in people li


‘’I personally feel it is important to bring some smile in people life than this bat. There is nothing more valuable than people life. I hope to save one people life with this bat money and it will be more valuable than this bat ‘’he added


Shakib also added coronavirus is the main reason for Bangladesh people not to smile at these moments of life 


‘’ My greatest satisfaction would come if I see the people of Bangladesh smile at this moment. Coronavirus pandemic is the main reason for Bangladesh people not smiling .when this coronavirus goes from our life our people will have the best smile in our country ‘’He remarked



  Raj the new owner of the bat said he will gift the bat to his children in near future


 ‘’This bat is something that every Bangladeshi wants to touch .i will present it to my children.shakib is one Bangladeshi who has given us hope. i have no children yet but hopefully when I have children I will say that this bat belongs to someone who has become the nest in the world and you also can achieve that goal.
