Bangladesh’s young off-spinner Nayeem Hasan said that he doesn't get disappointed during warming the bench in the national dressing room as he always looks forward to his chances to make a comeback.
Since his debut there was couple of occasion where the right-arm spinner gets chance to be with the team but not in the playing XI.

"Frankly, I play cricket for the country. And always try to improve day by day. I always try to prepare myself. I'll try to play well whenever I get the chance. Because it's just been a year and a half I've been playing in the national team,’’ said Nayeem.
"There have been a few series that I was with the team but I did not get to be in the eleventh. But I have never felt misery. I thought my job was to work hard. I did it. I tried to stay fit all the time. I thought whenever I get the chance I have to give my 100 per cent." Nayeem also said that he always thought that there must be a better player than him so that is why he didn't make it to the main eleven but he knows if he practice hard and performs well then he will get into the national team on regular basis. "I didn't think about why I did not get opportunities. How am I supposed to get a chance, because others were playing well,’’ he said.
Nayeem made his debut against West Indies in November 2018, where he managed to have five wickets haul and made himself the youngest bowler in Test history to pick five wickets in his debut Test match.
