Naim- Saif formed partnership to inspire each other

Bangladesh national team player Saif Hossan and Mohammad Naim has formed up a partnership while being at home lockdown for their fitness work.


Due to the coronavirus pandemic sports event has been all called off for an indefinite period. Cricketers are staying at their home being quarantined for days now and their main concern is fitness as they have to be fit so that they can start the moment situation gets better and the board decides to start everything again.


Two emerging player of Bangladesh team Saif Hassan, 21 and Mohammad Naim, 20 are also working on their fitness from home by giving each other targets, running on the treadmill and instructing each other as well.

Saif Hassan the youngest Bangladeshi player to score a first-class double century told Cricfrenzy that he and Naim are discussing with each other and doing their fitness work. Running on treadmill challenging each other and myself every time while being at home.


“We are working on fitness at home. We are doing it in the way we can. Naim and I are working on our fitness by discussing each other. Running on the treadmill. Competing with myself," Saif Hassan said.


Naim instruct me what to do, I also instruct him. That is how we are discussing and working. Competing with myself on the treadmill at home. Naim is also doing the same. That's how we are trying to keep our fitness," Saif added.


In the 2019 South Asian Games, the two batsmen were named in the tournament and gained the gold medal for Bangladesh.



Bangladesh Cricket Board [BCB] has already given instruction to the players of how they can keep themselves fit in these adverse situations. Following the direction of Nick Lee, BCB's head of physical performance, national team players are working on fitness at home.


For players who do not have gears of exercise at home and cannot go to the gym, Nick Lee is making some suggestions for them. Accordingly that the cricketers are working on their fitness at home.
