Taijul eyes 300 Test scalps

Due to the coronavirus situation cricketing event worldwide has been postponed for an indefinite period, Bangladesh Cricket Board has also postponed their Test series with Pakistan, Australia and the coming New Zealand series also in the verge of postponement. Standing on this great blow from coronavirus to the Bangladesh cricket Taijul Islam is confident that he will reach his goal of having 300 Test wickets before the end of his career.

The 28 years old spinner who is widely known as Test specialist bowler of Bangladesh team has said that he wants to finish his career by having 300 Test wicket mark. Though he is also tensed and admit that it would be difficult due to the ongoing coronavirus situation. Then again this is his main goal right now and he will turn every ods to reach his target.
"I will be happy if I get 300 wickets amid the situation of my country. However, it will also be very difficult. Yet this is my goal and I will strive for it," Taijul Islam said
The left-arm spinner is the fastest and also the second-highest Test wicket-taker for Bangladesh. From his debut in 2014 against West Indies till now he has played in 29 matches 50 innings where he had 114 wickets in his account, with seven five wickets haul and one 10 wickets haul so far, with best bowling figure in an innings eight wickets for 39 runs against Zimbabwe. Where top in the list there is Bangladesh all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan who have 210 wickets in his 95 innings.
