Bangladesh women’s team head coach Anju Jain is expected to be replaced ahead of the next World Cup as there is widespread allegation of misusing her power in the just concluded ICC World Twenty20.
Salma Khatun's team has returned home empty-handed from the Women's T20 World Cup in Australia while they have not won a single match in the last three World Cup and the only success they got was in 2014 World Cup when they got win against Sri Lanka in home condition.
Expectations were higher this time considering they had done well in the recent past and everyone expected that at least they will win one match this time in the global event, though they were failed to do so despite they got a win against Pakistan in the practice match.
Everyone is pointing their finger towards the Indian coach Anju for this disaster after being defeated by India, Australia, New Zealand and Sri Lanka and according to sources captain Salma Khatun had no control over the team under pressure from the coach.
Bangladesh Cricket Board’s women’s wing chairman Shafiul Alam Chowdhury refused to make any official comment in this regard but indicated that all was not well in Tigress dressing room.

"I don't want to say yes or no about whether these allegations are true or false,’’ Shafiul was quoted in a Bengali daily recently.
‘’But I was in Australia to watch the game. And I'm very disappointed with what I have heard or seen about all the matches because our team was not so inconsistent and it looked there was no rhythm,’’ he said.
Tigress could have made a great start in the World Cup but lost the chance to beat India despite creating a chance as their counterpart handed them 18-run defeat and question started to crop after that game considering leading batwoman Rumana Ahmed was dropped to No. 8.
Several sources claimed that the captain has no control over the team. The coach kept her under heavy pressure from outside the field and all the decisions were made by Indian coach Anju Jain.
It was alleged that Anju’s favorite player were given the opportunity in the team while she was keen to do experiment with the team at the time of World Cup.
Allegation also came that for her such behavior the women team started to do grouping which has an impact on the match.
Bangladesh skipper Salma Khatun believes that if Rumana batted up in the order it could have been different but refused to make any comment in this regard.
‘’It was not like that. Coach will do the planning this is normal. She told us about it but we may have failed to apply that on the field. She may have dropped Rumana later for strategic reasons. If she were successful, it would have brought results. But Rumana is our best batsman and if she came down first, the result could have been different,’ she said.
