BCB South zone scored 305/6 in BCL Final against East zone

In the first day of BCL final, BCB South zone posted a healthy 305/6 against Islamic bank East zone at Chattogram.
Islami Bank East Zone won the toss and elected to field and the final will be played in five days time frame.
Fazle Rabbi Mahmud and Anamul Haque Bijoy led the foundation for BCB south zone in their opening partnership. The openers added 136 runs before a mix out in running saw Bijoy was out for 76 runs. He hit five fours and one six in his innings.
Fazle Mahmud was the top score for BCB South zone with 86 runs. He hit Nine four and two sixes in his innings.

Al-Amin, who scored a century in the BCB XI practice match against Zimbabwe also scored a decent 39 from 61 balls and there were contributions from Mahedi Hasan (36) and Shamsur Rahman, who stayed unbeaten at stumps on 37.
Test discard Mahmudullah Riyad only managed to score one run for BCB south zone.
Fast bowler Ruyel Miah was the pick of the bowlers for East Zone as he took 2-58 while Abu Hider, Saqlain Sajib and Afif Hossain all chipped in with a wicket apiece.
