Chattogram holds back Dhaka to paltry 124-9

Muktar Ali and Ryan Burl grabbed two wickets apiece as Chattogram Challengers restricted Dhaka Platoon to paltry 124-9 in their eighth match of the Bangabandhu Bangladesh Premier League (BBPL) at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium on Friday.
With this match, the second phase of the Dhaka part of BBPL kicked-off. If Chattogram can win this match, they would almost ensure their play-off berth as the first team.
For Dhaka, Mominul Haque was the top-scorer with 34 while Wahab Riaz made 23. Tamim Iqbal chipped-in-with 21 runs.
Chattogram is currently at the top of the point table with 10 points from seven games while Dhaka is in the third position with eight points from six matches.
