The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has finally raised the fees, allowances and benefits for cricketers participating in the National Cricket League (NCL) first class competition. The changes will be effective from the ongoing 21st NCL.
The BCB on Monday said in a press release that substantial increase has been made to team accommodation (up to 80 percent) and match day catering (up to 85 percent) allocations.
At the same time, transport allocation has been increased to ensure air conditioned buses for team movements between hotel and venue.

Match of the NCL Tier-game was raised by 71 percent, meaning that a player will get BDT 60,000 for per match. Previously it was BDT 35,000.
Player match fee for the Tier-2 game was BDT 25,000 but it was increased by 100 percent and the players will get BDT 50,000.
Travel allowance for both Tiers will be BDT 3,500, which previously was BDT 2,500. The players of both Tiers now will get BDT 2500 for daily allowance as it previously was BDT 1500.
The press release added that the raised player match fees will be applicable from the first round of the 21st NCL, which means players will get the arrear for the first round matches.
In line with their promise to increase the pay and wages in domestic and International circuit following the players’ strike, the BCB now made these changes.
