Bangladesh team management heaved a sigh of relief after all-rounder Mehidy Hasan Miraz confirmed that his finger injury is not that serious to keep him out of cricket for several days.

Miraz was seen to leave the ground on Saturday after sustaining a injury on finger that raised doubt.

However the off-spinner and a handy batsman lower down the order, Miraz said that the injury is a minor one and it won’t take more than 2-3 days for him to return with bat and ball and he is working more on his physical fitness in this meantime.

“This is in good condition. Not a major problem. Maybe three-four day rest will be enough. I am not pleased as I’m not able to bowl or bat, maybe I can bat in two three days. But now I’m working more on physical fitness,” Miraz said here on Sunday.
