The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) will introduce rotation policy soon in a bid to protect the player from being burnt out as they experienced such sort of matter in the recent time.
The continuous cricket took a huge toll on the players like Tamim Iqbal, Mahmudullah Riyad who has been playing all format of the cricket for Bangladesh.
As has been the case both of the players has been dealing with niggles and mental fatigue that doesn’t bode well for the team. Both of the senior players experienced a poor run of form in the World Cup and it was believed to be the reason for Bangladesh’s downfall despite Shakib Al Hasan’s unreal form in the cricket’s biggest extravaganza.

The players however never talked about their rest and it is historically is not in the place in Bangladesh because most of the players fears about keeping their place in the team intact. The one except is however Shakib Al Hasan who at least talked about his rest when it is needed.
Shakib has recently taken a break from Bangladesh’s three-match ODI series against Sri Lanka in a bid to keep him fresh.
Tamim iqbal followed his suit after a prolonged bad patch as he requested a break from one-off test against Afghanistan and the subsequent tri-nation series involving Afghanistan and Zimbabwe. His plea was also granted.
From what the BCB has seen, they are also keen to introduce rotation policy as Shakib himself emphasized on it.
BCB president Nazmul Hassan Papon said they have talked about the issue with the coaches and the newly appointed Russell Domingo to sort out the way to materialize it.
“We have to provide them proper chances. And the teams might rest some players. But that does not mean we are dropping him permanently. We have discussed a lot about rotation policy with these coaches. We will work on rotation policy and introduce some new faces. We decided to introduce them with Tests but now we prefer T20s more than Tests to include new players. So I hope we will see new players very soon,” Papon informed.
