Rasel told to media that he is standing beside those middle-class families and assured that he will provide them relief by himself. His main target is to give those middle-class families most of his support.
Syed Rasel said, "I decided to help 500 people. But 500 is not enough. Need more now. I tried my best as much as I could. Government is providing assistance. Where many are getting and many are not. It should be delivered more precisely. I could not communicate well enough with those who were in charge in my area. Then I tried to help by myself."
"I finished giving 500 people assistance. Also, I bought some today again. Getting some phone calls separately. Many are going in front of the house to help. Assistance is going through a lot of people. I'm trying to make more relief for them. I'm trying to give more 100 people if possible," He added
In his each packet, Rasel is putting four kg of rice, one kg of flour, two kg of potatoes, half a kilogram of dal and also hand sanitizer.
The former left-handed medium-pacer said that he is staying on his farm for the last 16-17 days as self-quarantine at this moment and keeping a distance from his family as he is watching the whole relief first hand from his farm. And will only move from there while giving relief to the middle-class family through door to door.
"I didn't have to move. I have a firm, I've been here self-quarantined for 16-17 days. I didn't went for home. I have also forbidden everyone from getting out of the home. As I'm staying outside, still I have to meet with people, though the amount is so little. For this reason, I'm keeping a distance with my family," Rasel concluded.
