Pakistan Shaheens restricted Bangladesh High Performance (HP) to 258 runs in the first innings, demonstrating a potent bowling attack.

Opting to bat first, Bangladesh HP faced early setbacks, losing crucial wickets quickly. Mahmudul Hasan Joy provided a brief reprieve with a commendable 69 runs off 90 deliveries, giving the team a momentary advantage before being dismissed by Kashif Ali.

Aich Mollah also put up a solid performance, scoring 55 runs from 80 deliveries, but fell to Kamran Ghulam. Opening batter Parvez Hossain Emon contributed 30 runs off 75 deliveries before Khurram Shehzad sent him back to the pavilion.

Other batters, including Shadman Islam Anik (4), Amite Hasan (7), Shahadat Hossain Dipu (1), and Hasan Murad (0), struggled to make significant contributions. Khurram Shehzad continued his impressive bowling by dismissing Mahidul Islam Bhuiyan Ankon for 31 runs.

Rejaur Rahman Raja was the ninth wicket to fall, scoring 28 off 34 deliveries, while Ripon Mondol, the last victim, added 17 runs from 39 deliveries.

Pakistan's bowling attack, led by Shehzad, was formidable, preventing Bangladesh A from posting a substantial total. Shehzad was the standout bowler, claiming three key wickets. Kamran Ghulam, Kashif Ali, and Faisal Akram each took two wickets in their spells.

Pakistan's batting began on a shaky note, losing two quick wickets. Ripon Mondol dismissed both opening batters, with Haseebullah scoring 18 off 46 balls and skipper Sahibzada Farhan managing only 4 runs from 13 deliveries.

Pakistan Shaheens ended the opening day at 39 runs for the loss of two wickets, trailing by 219 runs, with Omair Bin Yousuf and Mohammad Ali at the crease.
