Reflecting on the series, Taskin said: “That was a really great series for us, especially because traditionally in Mirpur, it used to be a turning and slow wicket, but the last series was pretty sporting conditions. So, we all played a good series and we won against Australia. That's giving us really good confidence to play against them. But still, home and away, there is a big difference.”
Bangladesh secured a memorable ODI series win over Australia in Mirpur, with the team’s performances across both batting and bowling providing a major confidence boost.
Taskin, however, stressed that success at home does not necessarily translate directly to away conditions.
Bangladesh will need to adapt quickly when they face Australia on their own turf, where conditions and challenges are expected to be significantly different.
