Following Bangladesh’s T20 series against Afghanistan, right-handed batsman Saif Hassan has made a significant leap in the ICC T20 rankings. His unbeaten half-century in the final match of the series propelled him 17 places up the list, taking him to 18th position.

Saif’s remarkable rise came on the back of his responsible batting in the series decider against Afghanistan. Under pressure, he played an unbeaten innings of 64 runs off just 38 balls, steering Bangladesh to victory.

Left-arm spinner Nasum Ahmed claimed the Player of the Series award against Afghanistan after taking five wickets in three matches. His performances have also earned him a massive rise in the T20 rankings.

Nasum jumped 87 places among T20 bowlers and now holds the 44th position with 525 rating points.

Meanwhile, Indian cricketers dominated the Test rankings this week. Mohammad Siraj, Jasprit Bumrah, and Kuldeep Yadav delivered stellar performances in India’s first Test against the West Indies, earning notable improvements in the rankings.

Ravindra Jadeja and KL Rahul also made headlines for India with centuries against the West Indies. Jadeja has further solidified his position at the top of the Test all-rounders list, while Rahul climbed to 35th among Test batsmen.

In T20 rankings, Australia’s Mitchell Marsh jumped 13 places to reach the 10th spot. New Zealand’s Tim Robinson also climbed to 22nd position, courtesy of a brilliant century in the first match of the series.

Among bowlers, Afghanistan’s Rashid Khan has moved up to second place, just behind India’s Varun Chakravarthy. Noor Ahmad and Mujib Ur Rahman have also improved their positions. Australia’s pacer Josh Hazlewood rose 10 places to reach 13th in the rankings.
