The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has named a 15-member squad for the upcoming Asia Cup T20, to be held in Dubai and Abu Dhabi, with Suryakumar Yadav as captain.

This marks India’s first T20I outing since the England series earlier this year (January–February).

With the Bangladesh tour in August postponed to next year, the Asia Cup becomes their first assignment after the IPL—where standout performances have clearly shaped the team selection.

India will kick off their campaign against the UAE on September 10 at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium, before facing Pakistan in a much-anticipated clash on September 14 at the same venue.

Their final Group A match is scheduled against Oman on September 19 in Abu Dhabi.
