The Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) is set to begin on December 26, and overseas players have already started arriving in the country ahead of the tournament.

Pakistan pacer Mohammad Amir, who will represent the Sylhet franchise, reached Sylhet late last night. Meanwhile, Rajshahi Warriors’ direct signings Sahibzada Farhan and Mohammad Nawaz have also arrived in Bangladesh early to begin their BPL campaign.

Rajshahi Warriors have been further bolstered by the arrival of Nepal leg-spinner Sandeep Lamichhane. Pakistan all-rounder Hussain Talat and Sri Lankan fast bowler Binura Fernando have also joined the squad.

Among the overseas players of Rangpur Riders, Pakistan’s Khushdil Shah has arrived in Bangladesh.

According to the schedule, the remaining overseas players of other franchises are expected to join their respective teams by December 25.

Overseas players who have arrived in Bangladesh so far:

Sylhet Titans: Mohammad Amir

Rajshahi Warriors: Sahibzada Farhan, Mohammad Nawaz, Sandeep Lamichhane, Hussain Talat, Binura Fernando

Rangpur Riders: Khushdil Shah
