The news of Tamim Iqbal’s heart attack has reached the Bangladesh national football team’s camp in Shillong, where they are preparing for their upcoming match against India.

Star footballer Hamza Choudhury, in a statement to the media, expressed his sadness and wished for the speedy recovery of the Bangladeshi left-handed opener.

It wasn’t just Hamza—the entire Bangladesh football team came together to offer prayers for Tamim’s health.

On Monday at 7 PM (Indian time), the Bangladesh team began their training session at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium.

Shortly after practice started, the players gathered on the field for a collective prayer session, wishing for the former Bangladesh cricket captain’s swift recovery.

Apart from Hamza, team captain Jamal Bhuiyan also sent his best wishes for Tamim’s recovery, along with expressions of support from other footballers in the squad.
