The team, led by Rabeya Khan, comprises national team players and is on this tour as a final preparation opportunity before the upcoming T20 World Cup.

They are scheduled to play two 50-over matches and five T20 matches during the series.

However, the tour got off to a rough start due to the weather. The second 50-over match is set to take place in Colombo’s Thurstan on Tuesday. The T20 series will commence on September 12.
