Litton Das showcased an impressive innings, scoring 85 runs off just 58 deliveries in a Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) encounter at the Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chattogram, but his effort gone in vain, the Comilla Victorians fell short by 12 runs against the Sylhet Strikers while chasing a target of 178.

Litton remained at the crease until the final over before being dismissed by pacer Tanzim Hasan Sakib. Tanzim also claimed the crucial wicket of Russell on the last ball of his spell, finishing with figures of three for 33.
The impactful performances of English spinner Samit Patel and local medium pacer Shafiqul Islam further compounded Comilla's challenge, with each securing a wicket while conceding just 15 and 18 runs respectively in their four overs.
Earlier, Benny Howell's quickfire 62 off 31 balls helped Sylhet post 177-5 in their 20 overs after they elected to bat first.
