Players' union calls for reform of 'chaotic' global cricket calendar
27 Mar 25Afghanistan wicket-keeper batter Rahmanullah Gurbaz and Sri Lanka former captain Kusal Perera has been roped into the Fortune Barishal squad for the upcoming Bangladesh Premier League (BPL).
The franchise owner Mizanur Rahman confirmed the appointment to Cricfrenzy. Gurbaz will be joined by another Afghanistan player Najibullah Zadran.

The franchise has already roped in Universe boss Chris Gayle with his countryman 'Jimbo' Rahkeem Cornwall and Pakistan's Wasim Junior and Iftikhar Ahmad.
Ace-allrounder Shakib al Hasan is set to lead the side. The draft is set to be held on November 23.
Meanwhile, the three-time BPL champion Comilla Victorians have signed English all-founder Josh Cobb for the upcoming season.
The 43-day-long BPL will get underway on January 5 next year with the grand finale scheduled for February 16.
