Miraz lauds Rutherford for his match winning ton

Mehedy Hasan Miraz has been ranked second in the ICC ODI rankings. The right-handed spinner said he never imagined to achieve such a feat in his career.
Miraz has surpassed Afghanistan's Mujib Ur Rahman in the ranking, who stands at number three. Only Kiwi pacer Trent Boult stood above him. Miraj said, this feeling is different for him.
"I am very happy to be at number two in the rankings. I never thought I would be in the number two in the ODI cricket rankings. I'm feeling very good," said Miraz.
Miraz started his career as a Test bowler. Throughout the years he developed himself for limited overs cricket.
"I was a Test bowler when I started playing. But one thing that always worked in me was that I would not just play Tests, I would play all formats and play successfully," he said.
At the beginning of his career, his goal was to contribute to the team in any way possible. Miraz had a big challenge to keep his economy rate right. At the same time, he has tried to take wickets to ensure his place.
"If I keep the economy right, I will be more likely to play in the team and if I can give a breakthrough according to the situation of the team and play according to the game plan, it will be good for me and the team." Miraz added.
