Tiger’s corona test on September 7

Bangladesh Cricket Board announced on Saturday that sample for COVID-19 test will be collected from national team players and probables and relevant support personnel on September 7.
BCB said the initiative is taken as part of the BCB’s corona virus management plan and to ensure player safety for training sessions leading up to the forthcoming Tour of Sri Lanka.

The Bangladesh Cricket Board on Thursday decided to stop individual practice sessions for three days as part of COVID-19 precaution, with some of the support staff showing symptoms.
The BCB were initially reluctant to allow cricketers to train but eventually agreed, due to the insistence of a few national cricketers as they were eager to start training to prepare for the upcoming tour of Sri Lanka.
BCB is planning a week-long residential camp ahead of the upcoming tour of Sri Lanka. The residential camp is set to begin on September 21 while the BCB will conduct a COVID-19 Tests in three phases ahead of the tour.
The Bangladesh's tour of Sri Lanka which was scheduled for July-August was postponed because of the COVID-19 situation. Bangladesh are expected to travel to Sri Lanka on September 27 for the three-Test series that is scheduled to start in Kandy from October 24.
