Virat, Babar, and Mushfiqur are in Mahmudullah’s favorite list

Bangladesh T-20 captain Mahmudullah Riyad picked Virat Kohli as world number one batsman followed by Babar Azam and Mushfiqur Rahim as the best three batsmen of the world.
Riyad was asked to pick his favorite three batsmen among the current batsmen across the globe while he was attending a facebook live chat programme ‘Life is beautiful’ organized by the country’s private satellite television channel ‘Jamuna Television’.
The all-rounder also picked Shakib Al Hasan, Taijul Islam and Mehedi Hasan Miraz as his favorite three spinners in the current Bangladesh team.
Bangladesh cricket has produced a lot of left-arm spinners in their cricketing history so far but T-20 captain picked Rafique and Abdul Razzaq beside Shakib as the ever-best spinners among the whole lot.
Mahmudullah always loved to take challenges when facing any opposition bowlers in his careers and said he would like to face Pakistan speedster Shoaib Akhtar when he was at his best.
“I didn’t play against Shoaib Akhter. But I played one match against him but did not face him. I think I wanted to face him. It would be obviously challenging as well,” Mahmudullah said.
“He was the quickest bowler in his prime time. It would be challenging facing him and I like taking challenges as well,” he said in a recent facebook chat programme.
