“Tamim passed the fitness test and can take part in the NCL T20,” a BCB official confirmed to Cricfrenzy on Thursday.

Tamim is set to make his return to competitive cricket in the NCL T20 tournament, which will take place from December 11 to 23.

The veteran cricketer, who has not retired from Tests or ODIs, last appeared in a competitive match during the Dhaka Premier League (DPL), the country’s premier List A competition, in May this year.

This could be a preparation for Tamim for the upcoming Bangladesh Premier League (BPL).
