Bangladesh pacer Mustafizur Rahman has expressed his desire that he would play for every franchise in the Indian Premier League (IPL).
The cutter-master became the only Bangladesh cricketer to be picked in the auction for the 2024 edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL).
The left-arm pacer was bought at his base price of INR 2 crore by the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in the auction that took place in Dubai on Tuesday.

Mustafizur has participated in seven seasons of IPL and he represented four franchises so far. He last played for Delhi Capitals in the last edition of IPL.

When he was asked about his feelings on getting picked by Chennai and whether he would play for all the franchises he said,” Very excited. If I get the opportunity I will play for all the franchises in the IPL,” said Mustafiz.
However, the pacer won't be available for the whole season for national duties, as confirmed by Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) cricket operations committee chairman Jalal Yunus.
"We didn't give NOC for the whole season. He can play in IPL from March 22 to May 11 as he games at home. We also have T20 World Cup. Bu we are delighted that he was picked by CSK," said Jalal.
Mustafizur is the only foreigner to win the Emerging Player of the IPL back in 2016 when the Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) won the title.
The left-arm pacer has picked up 47 wickets in 48 IPL matches, at an economy rate of 7.93.
