Former Bangladesh captain Mashrafe Mortaza expressed disappointment over the lack of matches for Bangladeshi players in the Indian Premier League (IPL) season.
Mashrafe stated that he was more concerned about the performance of the Bangladesh cricket team rather than the IPL.

"I don't have any headache about the IPL. My concern is the Bangladesh team. If the Bangladesh team plays well, all of you, all of us, will be happy," said Mashrafe.

Mashrafe's comments have highlighted the need for franchises to prioritize the Bangladeshi players who have been selected for the IPL.
Mustafizur, who plays for Delhi Capitals, has only played in one match out of the four games played by his team so far in the tournament. Shakib al Hasan, another Bangladeshi player who was picked by Kolkata Knight Riders, opted out of the tournament citing personal reasons.
Litton Das joined the KKR camp recently is expected to feature in the upcoming matches.
"It's good for us that Litton will play IPL. But you will fly players on a chartered jet and will not provide them any matches, that’s not right. There are a few things, including social media. We get excited, and we have a large fan base that the franchise uses. We want them to prioritize the ability of our players. We want to see them play. That is why there is no need to be worried,” he added.
