Former Australia pacer and coach Andy Bichel believes Bangladeshi players will be on the radar of the Big Bash Premier League (BBL) franchises' during the T20 World Cup.

This year's T20 World Cup will be held in Australia, and Bichel said in an interview with Cricfrenzy that it would be a great opportunity for players to showcase their abilities and that some of them might get a chance to play in the next BBL season.

“This year's World Cup is a big stage for many cricketers. We will be able to see the cricketers of all countries, including the players of Bangladesh. But selecting foreign players in Big Bash is also a big challenge. It is also possible that we will get to see the Bangladesh players in the BBL after this World Cup, many may get a chance to play the next season,” Bichel told to Cricfrenzy.

When asked if he would coach the Bangladesh cricket team, he said, “I have coached in the IPL for the past few years. I enjoy this profession. Currently working with Queensland. Who knows, this may happen in the future,”

The veteran also provided suggestions for the fast bowlers who will play a vital impact in Australia's hard and bouncy wickets. 

“Bowling length is a big deal here. If you get the conditions to swing here, aim to hit the stumps straight 5 meters away to give the ball time to swing. But when you play at home, it becomes 7 meters, the ball has to be hit on the wicket,"

"There is swing-bounce almost all the time. You can also bowl in front to fool the batter so that he is tempted to play a shot and get out. Besides, the fielding position should also be arranged properly so that the bowlers' efforts do not fail,” he said.
