Tamim comes forward to help families of 91 struggling athletes

Bangladesh team ODI skipper Tamim Iqbal stepped forward with his noble work once again by lending his hand to help families of 91 struggling athletes of the country.

Members of swimming, hockey, football, athletics and every other sport in the country have been provided with some decent amount through bKash by the left-arm opening batsman  Tamim Iqbal.

Md Humayun Kabir, who coordinates the entire process, told Cricfrenzy that 91 athletes from every discipline of the sports section in the country was included in this noble work done by Tamim.

"91 athletes from different disciplines were given financial assistance that includes swimming, hockey, football, athletics, cricket and other games as well.  Minhaz Bhai has some list and I have some, no game has been discluded. Everyone has been supported financially through bKash," said Humayun adding that some athletes were broke down into tears after receiving the support.

"Every player was overjoyed that some of them started crying to have the support. Like out of nowhere I called them and said, hello, how are you, I'm cricket coach Humayun Kabir Shaheen on behalf of Tamim Iqbal,  wanted to know how are you and wish good health to your families and just associating with you by sending you some money as a gift  to do some marketing and eat with your families Bhai. After hearing this every athlete was very happy,’’ he concluded.
 
Earlier, Tamim has come forward to help Samiul the fastest teenage athlete, gave his support to the underprivileged children, middle-class families and was seen helping in collaborating with Nazmul Hossain Apu, raised funds with cricketers and donated to the welfare of the needy people of the country.

Before making this move Tamim made a contribution with Dhaka’s Mohammadpur resident Nafisa Anjum Khan, who is known to be among the many to come forward and help of the struggling people in the society.

Nafisa rushes with a CNG driven three-wheeler stacked with daily essentials called “gifts” who contact her over the phone.
