Soumya’s bid to get out of poor form

Bangladesh opener Soumya Sarkar has said that he is looking to get himself out from the series of bad form he has been in. Soumya hasn't scored a fifty plus innings in the World Cup. The last time Soumya played to his potential was in the Tri-nation series in Ireland, where he scored three half-century plus scores.
Soumya said, he has been working hard to get back into form once again and he is trying to find out where he has done wrong.
"Its true actually, I didn't score fifty in 10 matches. I am feeling bad too about this. Of course,I am trying. I am practicing. I am working where I need to work. I am trying to find out where i am doing wrong. I have played three matches before the World Cup and got runs in those. But why I am not scoring runs now, I am working on it," Soumya said to the reporters.
Soumya is also doing some extra practices to get back into form before the last match against Sri Lanka. Soumya believes if he connects the ball well in the nets then it will also boost his confidence in the last match.
"This is a confidence booster that I didn't score big in the match but if I connect more with the ball here it will give me confidence in the match. Mainly to get the things in use that I have learned," added Soumya.
Bangladesh has already lost the series against Sri Lanka after losing the first two matches. And the last match is a match of pride for the Tigers to save themselves from being whitewashed. The last match will be played on July 31 on Wednesday at Colombo. the match will start at 3 pm (BD Time).
