Bangladesh skipper Mashrafee bin Murtaza said that they have full belief on the ability of their squad members despite doubts were raised by others at several junctures of their career.

Mustafizur had long association with injury and even during the game against India he had a pulled his calf muscle that only adds more miseru in the national dressing room.

Mustafizur has had to endure a number of injuries in his career so far. The start of the ordeal was in England in early 2016 where he picked up a shoulder strain playing in the T20 Blast. A grade-two lateral ankle injury followed while he was taking part in a football drill, ruling him out of the start of Bangladesh Premier League 2017. He also missed the T20I series against Afghanistan in Dehradun, which Afghanistan won 3-0, and also missed the Tests in the Caribbean, which Bangladesh again lost 2-0.

Mashrafee pointed out that they had never lost their faith on the left-arm pace bowler during his trying times.

‘’Look, we don't have to think about what going on outside, which is important that we have our own belief that people, when Mustafizur came -- I give you an example, when Mustafizur attacking field came and bowled seriously and people start that the bowler is something else.’’ Said Mashrafee.

‘’When he got the injury, everyone started, you know, in a different way. Now everyone doubting him. So as a team, we have never been doubting ourselves. We always back Mustafizur. We knew he's our best bowler and still he can change the game; which is more important, what we are thinking ourselves, not thinking outside, because the problem, people don't think about the problems. People only think about the winning, only thinking about the performance, individual performance, so which isn't going to help us a lot,,’’ he said.

‘’Which is going to help is bonding each other the last four years, even the last round, we knew how things have been going with us,’’said Mashrafee.

‘’We have been helping each other and we still have been trying the same way going. We don't want to change. It's a World Cup match,’’ he said.

‘’We knew that, again, I'd say it's another international match tomorrow, and if anyone gets five wickets, if anyone gets 100 when we play on 15th June against New Zealand, it's another international match. You have so make sure you look at it very simply and make sure that what our family, what our team is giving each others, which is more important for me,’’ he concluded.
