Bangladesh Cricket Board’s head quarter survived a huge scare as no one got hurt despite fire broke out in their accounts department on Thursday.
The unexpected incident created a panic in around the BCB premises but it came under control after two units of Fire Services immediately rushed to the spot to take control of the whole situation.
BCB sources said that the board did not suffer any major loss due to incident in the accounts department apart from losing couple of vouchers as it was burned through the accident.
‘’Probably it started through a short-circuit in the air conditioner and we saw some smoke coming out from the room but the men from the fire service arrived immediately to take control of the situation,’’ said an eye witness on request of not to be named.
