Today at Hyderabad cricket gave us its greatest treasure, which is utter excitement. In a breathtaking contest Mumbai won the match by just one run. The veteran death over specialist Malinga defended   9 runs in his last over. Two runs were required in his last bowl but he got rid of Shardul Thakur by LBW with a perfect Yorker. Malinga proved today that he is not over yet, he is still your best pick to bowl the last over. This is the fourth IPL trophy for Mumbai Indains that has ended the debate of Who is the most superior side in IpL? Now we know its Mumbai.

Mumbai vs Chennai match is called as the EL classico of IPL. And today’s match has absolutely proven it. Mumbai won the toss today and choose to bat. They started in blistering fashion, scored 30 runs in just 3 overs, but they lost their way eventually after losing De Cock and Rohit at 45 runs.  Kieron Pollard’s 45 runs out 21 balls got Mumbai up to a respective total of 148 runs.

Which didn’t look a winning total by any means against Chennai.Deepak Chahar,Shardul Thakur, Imran Tahir all bowled brilliantly for Chennai.  Deepak chahar took 3 wickets for 26 runs for chennai

148 runs looked like a very easy target for Chennai but this match swigged like a pendulum the whole time. In their reply Chennai also started pretty good, Faf Du Plessis quick fire 26 runs from 13 balls gave them a boost. After the departure of Fuf other veteran Watson was battling on the other end.

Today Watson played one of his finest innings in IPl he scored 80 runs from 59 balls. His three sixes in the Krunal pandya’s over swung the game back into Chennai’s favor. But it wasn’t meant to be. Mainly the two run out of Dhoni and Watson has hurt Chennai the most. Bumrah has bowled fantastic this whole IPL, today wasn’t any different.  He gave just 14 runs in his 4 overs and took 2 wickets.

But Rohit Sharma kept his trust on the king of the death overs and he brought the fourth IPL trophy for the Mumbai Indians.

Mumbai and Chennai have played 4 matches in this year’s edition and Mumbai has won all of them. So, it can be said that Mumbai is the Kryptonite for Chennai.
