Mumbai vs Chennai IPL final, it seems so cliché right. We have seen three IPL finals between them and today’s match will be their fourth. Today’s match in Hyderabad will also decide the most successful side in IPL because both of them have three champions trophy.

Final against Mumbai can cause some headaches for Dhoni because in this year’s edition CSK has lost all three of the matches against Mumbai.  In cheapuk against Mumbai they got all out in just 109 runs, which is their lowest total in any IPL match.

But to turn the tide in their favor, CSK will look up to their veteran skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni. 2019 has been his most successful IPL edition with the bat.  He has scored 404 runs for the men in yellow.  Faf du Plessis, Shane Watson, Ravindra Jadeja ,Mitchell Santner , Imran Tahir, Dwayen Bravo  all have produced some match-winning performances this season.

They have proven their doubters wrong with reaching final with a side whose average age is almost 35 years.

They have beaten young Delhi side in the 2nd qualifier, which shows us the worth of experience in cricket.  But for winning in the final CSK will have to improve their power play batting, they are the slowest scoring team in the Power play in IPL 2019, going at only 6.29 runs an over in this phase while also losing the most wickets (29).

But the super kings will be excited by the fifties of Shane Watson and Faf Du PLessis against Delhi Capitals.

Mumbai Indians have enjoyed a flawless season.  They had an abysmal season in last year but in this year they have come back strongly. They have been in top half of the table throughout the whole season.

It has been a total team performance form them, they have four players who have scored more than 300 runs and five bowlers who took more than 10 wickets.

Rohit Sharma and Quinton De Cock had given them a sizzling start upfront, then they finished their innings in style with the power hitting from Hardik Pandya and Kieron Pollard. Specially, after recent controversy Hardik’s from has impressed everyone.

In their bowling department they have two death over specialist in their Arsenal , Jasprit Bumrah and Lasith Malinga. Dhoni Scores only at 102 strike rate against Bumrah with a dot ball percentage of 46.06, Bumrah will be crucial for Mumbai today in order to contain MS Dhoni today.

Mumbai Indians: 1 Quinton de Kock (wk), 2 Rohit Sharma (capt), 3 Suryakumar Yadav, 4 Ishan Kishan, 5 Hardik Pandya, 6 Krunal Pandya, 7 Kieron Pollard, 8 Ben Cutting, 9 Rahul Chahar, 10 Lasith Malinga, 11 Jasprit Bumrah

Chennai Super Kings: 1 Shane Watson, 2 Faf du Plessis, 3 M Vijay, 4 Suresh Raina, 5 Ambati Rayudu, 6 MS Dhoni, 7 Dwayne Bravo, 8 Ravindra Jadeja, 9 Deepak Chahar, 10 Harbhajan Singh, 11 Imran Tahir

So, who will win in Hyderabad and becomes the most successful side in IPL today remains to be seen.
