Pace bowler Khaled Ahmed ripped through the Rupganj batting line up with his List A career-best 4-31 as they were shot out for 171 in 49.3 overs.  Sheikh Jamal however also faced some trouble before reaching the winning target of 172-6 in 48.3 overs.

Apart from opener Mohammad Naim who top-scored with 58, no batsmen of Rupganj could pose a challenge to Khaled who unsettled them with raw pace. Khaled made a breakthrough with the wicket of opener Mehedi Maruf (2) and then the spinners appeared in the stage to strangle Rupganj batsmen.

Rishi Dhawan was the next best scorer for Rupganj with 23 runs while Jaker Ali made 17 runs.

Left-arm spinner Taijul Islam claimed 2-16 to complement Khaled.

Opener Elias Sunny led Sheikh Jamal chase with 58 runs. He held the one end intact despite a regular wickets tumbling. However Tanbir Hyder steadied the ship with an unbeaten 43. Nabil Samad scalped 3-27 for Rupganj in vain.
