Bangladesh batsman Mohammad Ashraful has been teamed with other national team stars like Soumya Sarkar and Taskin Ahmed in the for the four-day match on September 19. Their side, the Red team, will take on the Green team at the Sheikh Abu Naser Stadium in Khulna, in Khulna. Afif Hossain, Abu Jayed, and Sunzamul Islam are also among the national cricketers who will represent the Red team.

Imrul Kayes, Nurul Hasan, Taijul Islam, Al-Amin Hossain, Kamrul Islam Rabbi, and Jubair Hossain are the national team cricketers in the Green team.

The match will feature cricketers from Bangladesh A team and HP Unit alongside the national team-discards.

It was earlier confirmed that the High Performance Unit players will have no foreign tours to reflect the progress that they have made throughout the practice camp. The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) then announced a few practice matches to complete their HP program.

Two limited-over games between the HP cricketers and the Under-19 team was scheduled to be played last week, after a two-day intra-squad match between the HP cricketers earlier this month.
