Nasir and Mosaddek receive no punishment

Bangladesh Cricket Board official said on Saturday that they have warned Mosaddek Hossain for his off-field controversy that sparked the spotlight in the recent past.
Mossaddek attended a hearing at the BCB premise that was conducted by its disciplinary committee members.
Last weekend Mossadek’s wife put allegation, against the all-rounder, of demanding Tk 10 lakh as dowry, and also sued him in the court of law.
Mossadek had stated that he had divorced her before and the move was taken to defame him in front of the public.
“We have warned him,” said BCB director Ismail Haider after the hearing.
“The matter is still under investigation so we cannot do anything apart from warning him,” he added.
The BCB president earlier said that they have called three cricketers including Nasir Hossain, but the 26-year-old has been spared any punishment as he is still recovering after his knee operation.
“We have to consider that he is out of cricket and is still recovering from an injury. But he might be called in the coming days,” Ismail said.
Nasir was also heavily criticized for his personal relationship with Shah Humayra Subah, who publicized their personal conversations on the social media.
This is not the first time that BCB has taken disciplinary issues seriously. In 2014, the BCB had banned all-rounder Shakib al Hasan from all forms of cricket for six months and denied him an NOC to play in overseas competitions for one-and-a-half year for what it then said ‘a serious attitude problem.’
His ban was lifted after three months after Shakib made a public apology for his behavior.
